The position I'm looking for:
Type of position/Schedule: Currently open to either a long-term role, or a temporary/travel position.
For a long-term position, I am looking for either full time hours in a regular weekly schedule (45-60+ guaranteed hours every week), or a Rotational position (1wk on/1wk off or 2wks on/ 2 wks off). Happy to discuss a schedule that works well for everyone!
Living situation: Live-out or Live-"on" (a separate guest house on the property, separate staff housing, in a separate provided apartment or full housing stipend).
Location: Open to new locations. I love to explore new places. I've lived in NYC, DC, OR, and NC so far!

Travel: Experience traveling with families (Family vacations, as well as, traveling with parents needing to work/go to conferences) and working in new cities. I enjoy traveling and hope to personally do more travel in coming years!

Start date available: Available immediately after interviews, a work trial, contract signings, and moving to the new location!

Ages of children: I have experience with newborns to teenagers in various settings, and enjoy working with all ages.
Child-related responsibilities: I’m happy to take on the typical nanny tasks such as children’s laundry, meals, driving children to school, activities & lessons, etc.
Additional Family-assistant related responsibilities: I’m happy to add on grocery shopping, errands, organizing, laundry and many other household assisting tasks.
Type of household: I’m best suited for a professional couple, in a neat household, where the parents are comfortable with me transporting their children to get out and about to explore parks, play groups, museums, libraries, classes, and more.
Special situations: My experience is limited, but I have worked with medically fragile children, as well as, neurodiverse children. I'm happy to do training and speak with the child's therapists and doctors to assist as needed. I have taken children to PT, OT, Speech Therapy and various doctors.
Allergies/Pets: I have a severe food allergy to nuts. I can work in homes with Nuts with precautions taken - so please ask questions if this is a concern for you.
I am allergic to some animals. I would prefer to work in a home with no pets, or with well trained animals that listen to instruction. I have worked in many homes with pets, so please reach out to discuss if this might be an issue.

Vaccinations: I receive yearly flu shots, am fully Covid vaccinated with two boosters, Tdap (updated 2024), and am willing to receive other vaccines depending on family need with discussion.

Commitment: Hoping for a long-term position or temporary/travel type jobs.

Car: I require a "nanny car" to be provided by the family in places that require driving. This is for all outings, school/activities, doctor appointments, errands, etc. In places like NYC, a personal driver and/or metro card will need to be provided.

Required Pay: I expect to be paid legally with all taxes withheld, overtime over 40 hours in a week, guaranteed hours, and direct deposit payments through a reputable nanny tax & payroll company.
Required Benefits for permanent positions: Paid time off ( 2+ weeks vacation, sick days, & federal holidays), a health insurance stipend or health insurance provided. Other benefits are welcome. If I am asked/required to work on holidays, that is double time pay.
Travel Expenses: My hourly rate, plus all overtime hours (over 40 hours in a week) are paid time and a half. Travel time is also my hourly/overtime rate.
All expenses are covered while traveling with families, this includes:
*Lodging - hotel or airbnb with a separate space for bedroom and bathroom for the nanny.
*Transportation - any mode of transportation needed (flights, train, taxi's/lyfts/ubers, etc).
*Food - this includes all meals eaten while working and while not on the clock.
*Travel insurance for the nanny will be provided by the family.
*Travel (inconvenience) fee for every night spent away from my own home and/or regular routine. This may be while traveling or while I am home with the children while the parents are away and I am unable to leave the home.
*If I am expected to work on holidays, that is double time pay.
*If I am working overnight and/or have been given the monitor to watch at night, this is additional hours to be paid. This is separate from my travel fee.
